The humidity meter allows you to quickly and easily see if you need to water. No batteries are needed. Ideal for pots, beds and ‘critical’ places in the garden. Many times the soil is dry on the surface due to evaporation but moist further down in the pot. Insert the needle into the soil to 3/4 of the depth of the pot. The meter will show the humidity of the soil. Do not leave the moisture meter in the soil!
